By using Odovia you accept these terms. They are deliberately short; if anything is unclear, write to us.
The service
Odovia is a logbook app that stores your vehicle details, odometer readings, fuel entries, expenses, service records and reminders. The service is provided "as is".
Your account
- You need to provide a valid email address to register.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time.
About receipt scanning
Receipt reading (OCR) is an automatic estimate; every field carries a confidence score and low-confidence fields are flagged in the app. The accuracy of the read values is not guaranteed; checking them before saving is the user's responsibility.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. A warning may be delayed or missed if notification permission is off, the device is powered down, or battery optimisation intervenes. Keeping track of legal obligations such as inspection and insurance remains the user's responsibility.
Liability
The app is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. We accept no liability for indirect damage arising from data loss, a missed reminder or a misread receipt. We recommend exporting your data regularly.
Unacceptable use
- Overloading the service with automated tools
- Attempting to access someone else's account
- Uploading unlawful content
Changes
These terms may be updated; the effective date is shown at the top of the page. Significant changes are announced in the app.
